I ran an errand last night, that lasted no more than 45 minutes. How much damage can happen in that amount of time? Well, the boys flew a rocket ship to the moon and back…
And left Evan’s room, well, let me just say, it wasn’t pretty…

LOVE the Wolverine hat!!! But don’t let Dad catch wind of it because you know he will call Evan a communist…. He just about has him converted to a Hawkeye.
I read The Parent Adventure recently and one of the chapters in that book is about building a “yes” home. Sometimes it’s so hard as a parent to let the little one(s) mess up a recently cleaned area. If you can say “yes” in the small areas of life (like making a mess) your “no” will be received better in the more important areas later on. The pictures are great examples of a “yes” home!
Thanks Christine! I needed to hear that! I really do try not to stress out about the mess. With a house full of boys – I have resigned myself to picking up messes – LOL!
