Little Runner Boy

Carter has one speed: RUN! He may have started walking a little later then average kids, but once he started, he skipped the walking and went straight to running. He can run laps around Evan. He LOVES to run!

Last week we took the boys to Dick’s Sporting Goods to get a pair of running shoes for Jeremy. As you may remember, the boys LOVE going to Dick’s. And this outing was no different! But instead of wanting to go immediately to the putting green like his older brother, Carter was entertaining himself…

…by running around the track. Not once, not twice, but oh about 20 minutes straight!! He was sweating and panting but just. could. not. stop himself! Normally I would not allow my kids to run through any store, but when a store puts in a running track and I have a runner, I just couldn’t fight the inevitable. And he wasn’t causing a scene by screaming or yelling, he was just running! And once again, I want to THANK the crew for not getting upset with him running circles around them. Another reason, I get all our sports supplies at Dick’s. I kinda owe them for letting my boys run a muck in their stores!
