Who knew? Well except for Jeremy and my parents and my kids…all right…all right…
But actually I am being completely serious. I AM PERFECT!
Okay fine, medically speaking that is.
As you may recall, I have been dealing with some crazy physical issues for some time. I have gone the traditional route and the not-so-traditional route to try to find what is actually going on.
After late last year, going the alternative route, with nothing to show for it, I pretty much gave up. This winter, I completely gave up on all exercise (since that aggravates the pain), ate whatever I wanted and hid under comfortable clothes. I ended up gaining 15 pounds since last September!! HOLY COW!
Last month, Jeremy (and some of my closest friends) convinced me to find another doctor and try it all again. I found a doctor through a friend and he promised me that we would find out what was wrong with me.
All in all, I had several rounds of blood work, a ultra sound on my abdominal area and an MRI! And guess what? I AM PERFECT!! That is exactly what my Doctor said. And he pretty much said that he has “done everything that can a family doctor can do, and quite honestly he doesn’t know what else to do or to refer me too.”
So I am pretty much as square one again. And trying to figure something out on my own. I have started back on a similar diet that I was on in August which does definitely help my digestive tract! And after having a friend on Twitter send me an article on allergies, I am hoping to find an allergy specialist.
More to come in another post…remember my last post about not being able to make coherent sentences…ha! I am at that point…ha ha!
Who knows? I do know that God does! I do find comfort in knowing that my heavenly Father knows and promises not go give me more than I can handle. And that he doesn’t want me to worry about tomorrow, just trust Him today! And I really do find comfort in that!
Praying for you…I understand the futility of it all!
God gives grace!
Sorry to hear you’re having health problems…I don’t know all your details, or what you have tried. I know a lot of people that are actually allergic to gluten, have you tried a gluten-free diet? There are more and more things that are gluten free. The downside is it is kind of expensive, but if you make most of your own food, it’s doable. Just a suggestion, even though I know you’ve prolly gotten a lot of them. Hope you figure it out soon!
