Weekly Winners – October 11
Well, I haven’t had many chances to take pics the last couple of weeks! The kids won’t cooperate
neither has the weather. So I only have a few this week.
This definitely is my favorite this week! It captures Carter’s personality and shows off those beautiful eyes.
This one is to just document that Evan chose his outfit on this specific day. I tried to convince him to at least change his shirt but he “wanted to wear all blue”. I gues it could have been worse.
But I thought this one also a good choice, since this is his new “picture face”. When he sees me get the camera, he automatically does this face. Where is my beautiful little baby boy who would always give me a big grin…oh yeah, he is becoming a kid!
I was in the car with the family, when Jeremy pointed out this bumper sticker. I couldn’t resist, so I stuck the camera out the window. Is it just us?

Weekly Winners – Rain, Rain Go Away!

This is what we woke up with EVERY day this week. Rain, dreariness and fog! What a BLAH week and with 2 toddler boys in the house, it has been difficult keeping them active without our usual play dates outside!

Last week I showed you the morning ritual of watching daddy leave for the day. Here is a view from the outside.
By the end of the week, I was DESPERATE to get outside, so we braved the drizzle and went to the park. Yeah, of course we went to the one with the sand pit. Needless to say, I had 2 very soaked and sandy boys! Nothing like cleaning up that mess, but it was worth it. We ran off some of that excess energy! Evan decided that he did NOT want his picture taken this week, so I am not being biased just didn’t have any of E this week. Notice how wet Carter’s pants are
.

The back view!

Carter did figure out that you can hide under the slides, still get to play in the sand and stay dry! Brilliant! Except that he was sitting in wet sand!

But I did manage to find some beauty amongst the dreariness. My rose bush hasn’t given up to Fall yet. It is still yielding beautiful pink blooms.

Here’s a pic that I took of one of the 3 boxes of Spagnuolo’s Chocolates that I have at the house that I am giving away! With all the gloom, I was very tempted to crack open one of these festively wrapped boxes! YUMMY! It’s not to late to enter to win a box for yourself!

I just LOVE the smiles on their faces in this one, they do make each other laugh. It’s awesome that they enjoy each other’s company!

NOOOOO! I haven’t been eating Oreos!

Morning Ritual: Dad: How Many Beep Beeps would you like to hear? Evan: This many {with 3 fingers holding up}. Then they get up in the chair and wave bye bye to Daddy and wait for the beep beeps.

Sittin’ in the mornin’ sun,
I’ll be sittin’ till the evening’s done
Watchin’ the ships roll in,
then I watch ‘em roll away again
Sittin’ on the dock of the bay,
watchin’ the tide roll away
Sittin’ on the dock of the bay wastin’ time…

Evan can fluently use my iPhone, I figured it was probably time to let Carter in on the fun. He is playing the Dumb Dumb Game

Wordless Wednesday

This post is part of Wordless Wednesday, for more like it, visit 5 Minutes for Mom,Wordless Wednesday or Twitter Moms.
Although technically it is “Wordless Wednesday”, the poor cat has only one joy in life – now that those horrible kids run the house – is to make the great escape to the great outdoors and pretend to be in another place. She was hoping I couldn’t see her, so that she could spend a few extra minutes in heaven! Don’t worry all of you animals lovers, she is an indoor cat that only gets to escape periodically to munch on a little bit of grass before being dragged back in the house

Weekly Winners – “Go Blue” Style

Well with College Football in full swing, I thought this week, I would have a little sports fun and dedicate my Weekly Winners to our favorite Football Team. These are some of my favorite shots taken over the last couple of years. And “NO” we are not brainwashing our kids to like a certain team, well okay maybe a little bit!!

Weekly Winners: These Are a Few of My Favorite Things..
Come on now, you know you just sang that title! For this week’s Weekly Winners, I decided to take pics of the boys’ favorite things, as of right now. I love the fact that they are now playing toys with each other, and most of Evan’s toys, Carter loves because they are Evan’s, so poor Evan is finding out that sharing isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be!

Weekly Winners – Summer Edition
With the summer coming to an end – the pools are closing this week so in my mind it’s the end of summer – I thought I would pick my favorite summer pics of my boys. We had a lot of fun this summer going to the beach, hanging out at the pool, going to some fun children’s museums, parades and birthdays. I am sad to see the summer go, but know that we will have a fun filled fall season!
