You know there are certain looks your kids give you when they are doing something, completely against what they know you want them to be doing. You try to explain these looks to others, which is typically pointless. Or if you are like me you spend A LOT of time trying to capture the look on film. And you try not to laugh when they are “pushing your buttons”. Well I have been lucky recently to capture “the look” with Carter.
-OF course I did not egg him on by telling him NOT to put the stuffed animal in his mouth, knowing that he would do it just to get a couple of pictures, just for the sake of this blog!-

(excuse the food that I hadn’t wiped off yet, ha ha. He got to the toy before I got to the wipes!)
What types of things do your kids do, to get under your skin. Carter’s big thing right now is to wait until I see him and he will put something in his mouth, hence this blog post. What’s your story?

First of all, Carter is SO cute. Please let me have him : ). So my story is not THAT funny (I wish) but involves my three sons at bed time. They ALL are in the same room (I know, impressive) and at bed time they TALK, and SING, and TALK, and scream sometimes…this goes on and on. Bob and I used to get frazzled about all the chitter “GO to SLEEP!” but now, we just let them talk and sing, tell stories (sometimes involving poop or fart) and it goes on for about an hour. OUR RULE is as long as they STAY in their BEDS…it’s cool with us. They all are really close (for being brothers). And sometimes you can catch Bob and I sitting outside the door listening to their conversations about their day, life and mostly toys and other people’s FUN basements they have been to.
Carter is adorable!!!! As you know, Sophie loooooves to be chased. Her way of really pushing my buttons is making me RUN after her al the time. Oy! I know I need the exercise, but GEEZ.
